YOUR ROLE

  • Identification of cost saving, cost avoidance and process improvement opportunities at each site
  • Train, coach and mentor employees and train the trainer on the HPS tools and methodology to install an HPS culture
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) workshops targeting specific improvement opportunities
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to analyze data sets and uncover areas for improvement
  • Attend cross-functional teams to ensure alignment where needed
  • Support lean assessments for all projects > 1M€
  • Monitor the progress of the project team assigned to specific A3 & Lean initiatives
  • Develop Global HPS Standards
  • Manage and develop HPS in 3rd Party Manufacturing suppliers in your cluster

YOUR SKILLS

  • Min. Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering or comparable degrees with focus on production
  • Min. 5 years of relevant professional experience within Team management
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work with people from shop floor to plant management, on multiple sites
  • Drive individual projects as well as global and European initiatives
  • Be able to challenge current processes where change was not thought possible
  • Think outside the box to derive solutions
  • Change the continues improvement thinking and culture whilst reaching short term targets using the tools available
  • Be able to work with different cultures and adapt according to those cultures to achieve the required results
  • Work within a team as well as on individual topics
  • Work remotely without supervision
  • Travel for at least 40% of working time

This position can be located in Heidelberg or Düsseldorf.
