YOUR ROLE

  • Facilitate Problem Solving Teams for both VOC and internal Issues; Guides and supports the Decision Board (DB), a team which determines the disposition of materials suspected of non-conformance to requirements in accordance with the Quality Assurance Manual.
  • The team will regularly report to management their actions as well as summary of causes of non-conforming materials;
  • Support CCMS - Guides, directs and determines root cause and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Deals directly with product related issues and business systems related issues.
  • Included in this activity is the regular reporting of defect analysis and proposed solutions for preventative action;
  • Supports the development of product Key Characteristics and Key Process Parameters identification and supports the implementation of Statistical Process Control in the production environment;
  • Support of Product Development teams as needed, product testing support for the Quality Control department.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering or Chemistry preferred)
  • 3+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace or closely related industry;
  • Understanding of ISO 9100, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements, with practical application in aerospace preferred;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient in use of SAP, with particular knowledge of the Quality Module;
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead and coordinate efforts between various functional groups to address customer requirements and requests, and to complete projects related to the achievement of established quality improvement objectives;
  • Willing to spend time on the manufacturing floor gaining knowledge as well as developing solutions with the ops input;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work on multiple projects;
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
