Head of Sales - Packaging Adhesives - BeNeFrance H/F

YOUR ROLE

The BeNeFrance (Belgium, the Netherlands and France) Sales Manager is responsible responsible and accountable for the countries belonging to his territory and for the team reporting full line to him, as well as the management of the sales field and local distributors. Your main tasks are the following:

  • Implement business plan for sales & profit and deliver for the packaging industry in the region

  • Guide, train, educate and prioritise team’s time allocation (customer cluster, regions)

  • Execute European Key Account Strategy for packaging industry locally and secure regional coverage

  • Ongoing control of local portfolio and manage complexity

  • Analyse market, competitors and customer adhesive potential

  • Translate strategic-accounts requirements into business advantages for Henkel

  • Lead & initiate customer contacts at plants, development, quality, marketing, sales, management level

  • Coordinate and steer information & reporting flow

  • Develop/extend further sales channels

  • Negotiate and implement prices / payment terms / price increase / lock in business measures

  • Coordinate / follow up of all projects, ensure ACE (data base) pipeline

  • Ongoingly analyse losses and drive countermeasures

  • Responsible for sales team’s CRM (ACE usage) and Key Account communication

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in Sales, Business Management or Chemistry with knowledge and experience in the packaging industry

  • At least 10 years’ experience in sales, with managerial roles, ideally in industrial adhesives and packaging industry

  • Good business understanding

  • Previous experience of leading teams across different countries

  • Experience with CRM systems and MS-Office

  • Fluent in English and French
