The application engineer strengthens our global team of technical customer service (TCS) to further drive business growth in Engineered Wood Adhesives.


  • Technical support for customers during start-up phase of production, during optimization and in case of troubleshooting
  • Auditing and technical trainings for employees and workers at different levels of hierarchy in the customer’s plants
  • Identification of new application trends and methods
  • Building a relationship of trust in order to anticipate the technical needs of our customers
  • Willingness to travel on business in Europe and occasionally worldwide 
  • The position is based out of our major hubs in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland 


  • Master degree in the field of wood or mechanical engineering or/and
  • +10 years professional experience, out of which +5 years successful track records in the wood industry
  • Experience in a business driven by a complex regulatory environment (certification, building codes)
  • Integrative personality with entrepreneurial flair, with proven leadership skills and evidence of successful execution of complex projects
  • Highly international with the ability to build networks globally across different cultures
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization 
  • Fluency in English; German and additional languages in major markets is a plus
