Senior Process Engineer

YOUR ROLE

  • The Process Engineer functions as a team lead for continuous improvement and optimizes plant performance through the development and implementation of improvement projects and process.
  • Leads CI workshops related to process improvement for batch mixing and filling operation
  • Develops and maintains plant layouts and proposes process flow improvement.
  • Analyses downtime data and develops action plans to improve OEE
  • Process owner for Management of Change system
  • Assist in the plant CAPEX plan development; project identification, justification and execution.
  • Develops process documentation and trains personnel on new processes, materials and equipment.

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Chemical Process Industry Experience preferred
  • Process Safety Management (PSM) Experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated capability to take out cost by utilizing Improvement tools
  • Strong problem solving skills and well organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong computer skills: MS office, MS project and Auto Cad
  • Preferred-Experience with high speed automation, some knowledge of Allen Bradley controls, packaging and filling equipment.
  • Preferred – Greenbelt certified
  • Preferred Technical skills: Floor Kaizens, OEE, Control Plans, PFMEA, SPC, and 8D
