Technical Customer Service Engineer

  • Plan and execute analytical tests on developmental and commercial products. Provide timely feedback to customers on project and testing status. Analyze results and deliver detailed worksheets and scientifically sound reports with data driven conclusions.
  • Plan and execute applications development test utilizing processing equipment such as dispenser, printer and sprayer.
  • Schedule laboratory tests, prioritize and meet customer timelines and expectations.
  • Responsibility for equipment: set up, operation, calibration, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation.
  • Understand/Assess project needs for various situations, develop technical solutions with an analytical thought process, and design/build set-ups.
  • Conduct analytical and process development studies supporting Product and Applications Development, Product Management and Production Departments which include in-process, finished-product and quality test
  • Familiar with statistical methods: Identify data deviation on measurement instrumentation, measure variation, take corrective actions and provide repeatability/reproducibility analysis to customers.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
  • 0-3 years experience working in an electronics application environment.  
  • Experience in dispensing process and equipment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with other team members in product development programs.
  • Experience in writing technical papers or reports as well presenting results to a technical team.
  • Rheology, Thermal analysis, electrical and mechanical testing experience is desirable.  background preferred but not required.
