Inventory Control Specialist

YOUR ROLE

  • Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory/property records.
  • Verifies record computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Compares inventories to office records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
  • Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
  • Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
  • May operate various office machines.
  • May stock and issue materials or merchandise.
  • Will be involved in year end audits of inventory and processes.

YOUR SKILLS

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • (7+), years’ experience with SAP
  • Ability to pass Henkel Forklift certification within first 30 days.
  • Ability to pass basic mathematics proficiency requirements and skills assessment testing.
  • Must have full command of the English language, which includes reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Demonstrated proficiency at routine mathematics, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be computer literate. Specifically, adept with Microsoft Office environment, especially: Excel & Word
  • The employee must have excellent attendance record.
  • The employee must be available for rotating or designated shifts and be flexible about working overtime hours as needed.
