YOUR ROLE

  • The role of the Senior Brand Manager is to develop short & long term plans that translate into operational actions to achieve sales, market share & profit growth objectives for Beauty Care Retail Business Unit. This role is responsible for a portfolio of brands (Canadian & North American). 
  • Devise 3 year strategic portfolio growth plans to be presented to both local BU and international organization.
  • Deliver annual brand reviews & marketing plans that translate into channel/account plans with support from sales strategy/sales teams.
  • Drive health of base business by optimizing trade fundamentals (distribution, pricing, in-store promotion & merchandizing) in collaboration with sales strategy/ sales teams.
  • Leading marketing, product, communication and PR strategy for Canada, leveraging North American innovation & communication for brand(s) shared across the border; adapt and localize where required

YOUR SKILLS

  • BBA/BA/BComm (Business or Economics) - MBA an asset. Minimum 5 years brand management experience
  • Thinks strategically uncovering market insights that would turn into potential opportunities or issues.
  • Plans & execute both long term/big picture actions and short term/day to day initiatives – leveraging insights uncovered.
  • Prioritizes and focuses their own/cross functional team on key objectives, big bets and flawless execution of actions.
  • Has a solid financial acumen. Knows how to pull levers of the P&L to drive profits.
  • Has a strong operational acumen. Rolls up their sleeve with supply chain when necessary to ensure flawless execution.
  • Collaborates with and influences teams in Canada, US & international.
  • Highly confident in presenting and simplifying the complex to senior local & international leadership.
