TCS Engineer Thermal, E-Mobility - Automotive Components (d/f/m)

  • Henkel Adhesive Technologies is the leading solution provider for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings worldwide, with more than 26,000 employees and €9 billion in sales. In the Automotive Component business, we play a key role providing solutions for e-mobility, electronics, powertrain, interior and exterior systems. As part of the European Technical Customer Service (TCS) team for Thermal, you will be responsible for developing solutions that best fit our e-mobility customers, by ensuring technical support for existing and new business.
  • Provide technical support to sales projects, ensuring the right product selection, agreeing on validation plan and assisting the customer through prototyping phase and start of production
  • Work closely with our Product Development teams, giving technical inputs (application and process) to the requirement list, evaluating the performance of development products, assisting product launches and technology rollouts
  • Participate in internal and external focus teams to keep up with the technology evolution and latest developments relevant to your area of expertise, as well as giving technical inputs to market strategy activities
  • Support customer complaint processes with high technical expertise, participating in fault tree analysis processes and troubleshooting line problems directly at the customer
  • Provide technical trainings and supporting Tech Days internally and externally


  • University level education, preferred higher degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Materials, Chemical or Automotive Engineering
  • Preferably previous experience in the Automotive Industry, ideally in e-Mobility and/or in customer facing technical roles
  • Knowledge in adhesives, thermal products, electronic application and/or application process is an asset
  • Good communication and team working skills; ability to work in an international environment
  • Project management skills to ensure cross functional team cooperation
  • Fluent spoken and written English language skills, additional languages are an asset
  • Willingness to travel (40% throughout Europe and occasionally globally)
