Sales Analyst - Dollar Channel

  • The Sales Analyst isresponsible for providing analytical, forecasting and promotional planning support for the Dollar Channel Beauty Sales Team.  Primary focus of the role is on internal (Henkel brands) executions and impact on Henkel NA strategies and KPIs.
  • Promotional Planning/ Evaluation: review promo YOY (Henkel & competitive), promotional post-mortem, sales v forecast, volumetric impact by event type
  • Standardized Reporting: weekly POS reporting/scorecards, updating data pulls, provide performance summaries to Sales/ HQ. Be expert on Henkel-specific performance POS, shipment drivers/impact, shipment vs consumption tracking, track pricing, pricing changes customer and competition
  • Assortment/ NPI (New Product Innovation): Capture assortment changes and translate into shipment impact, performance vs. expectations; NPI: validate GO volumes from HQ, track shipments vs. forecast post launch, manage/Update NPI trackers
  • Forecasting: Monthly/Annual forecasts and Cause of Change owned by sales team/sales analysts
  • Customer Support: Promotion set-up as well as post promotion evaluation for Henkel events.   Maintain Event/ Promo Tracker, own New Item Set-up, complete quote sheets/ vendor forms, coordinate fulfillment of WERCS, item content/ details, & ship samples for imaging
  • Sales Team Support: maintain active item list and Pricing Discrepancy Report to prevent pricing errors on invoice, align deduction support; support NBM/NAMs in their internal planning (Family Dollar team specifically); other project work as needed for Sales, Sales Director.


  • BS degree in related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales analytics, or related experience; Exposure to consumer products promotions.
  • Experience with group and one on one presentations.
  • Database manipulation background; strong MS-Excel (Access/ Power BI also highly relevant, not required)
