  • Must be capable of running the WWTP effectively in the day-to-day operations and respond appropriately in emergency situations
  • Responsible for meeting compliance with DOE Standard B. This includes conducting required sampling programs, submitting on-line compliance reports and implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Manage chemical inventory process to ensure chemicals are ordered, stored and disposed properly
  • Manage sludge disposal process
  • Ensure availability of equipment replacement parts to maintain operational compliance and supervise & assist contractors with equipment repairs
  • Continual process improvement and provide SHE assistance to operations.
  • Involve and support accidents and incidents investigation and support field audits, reporting and managing the corrective actions
  • Coordinate with HODs/Managers on facility deficiencies and monthly safety inspections.
  • Assist with maintaining the Site Preparedness and Emergency Plans Procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining the filing systems regarding worker SHE matters


  • Competent in IETS (Biological Process) Treatment
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in handling WWTP operations
  • Preferably some experience in SHE coordination work
  • Sound knowledge of Chemical or Manufacturing process activities
  • Ability to detect, reason and synthesize solutions (Root Cause Analysis)
  • Good scheduling management skills
  • Good communication skills (oral & written)
  • Knowledge of ISO19001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
