  • Performs as an internal service provider for the Henkel digital operations organization as well as global, regional and local digital leads by providing custom web development services
  • Does server-side web application logic and integration of the work done by front-end developers
  • Writes web services and APIs used by front-end developers
  • Liaises with business partners regarding planning and execution of digital web development initiatives


  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in IT, Web Development, or Computer Science
  • At least four (4) years of relevant working experience using CQ5/AEM (versions 5.x and 6.x) and with expertise in CQ5, CRX, JCR, Sling, and OSGI technologies
  • Experience with Java and third party services integration, with thorough understanding of the building blocks of AEM required
  • Must have working knowledge and understanding of the following frameworks: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, JSON; Sling Models/ Sling Mocks/ Sling API
  • Experience in use of website creation and management (Modular Content, Content Fragments, Headless Content Management, SPA Editor, SPA Editor-compatible single page-applications independently of AEM. AEM's Assets HTTP API supports exposing Content Fragments directly in the DAM as JSON)
  • Solid experience working with MAVEN, being familiar with any AEM MAVEN archetype; Must possess good understanding of the AEM architecture, Application development and Deployment Cycles, CQ5 building blocks, CRX repository, leveraging web content management components for the customization of websites
  • With high proficiency in English verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
