Mixing Operator - Grade II

  • Responsible for the operation, acquisition and addition of material into mixing equipment.
  • Demonstrates a full understanding of relevant mixer/holding tank/valve/transfer line relationships where applicable.
  • Competent to operate no less than two mixers/equipment independently.
  • Monitors own work assignments and other assignments with related mixers.
  • Assists with cycle counts as required.
  • Takes independent action or directs resolution of housekeeping infractions in area of responsibility.
  • Execution of duties in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures including accurate and timely completion of required paperwork.


  • High school graduate or GED
  • Certified in operation of fork lifts.
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds repetitively and up to 70 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • Must operate with a sense of urgency.
  • Able to understand and perform basic math.
