  • Able to read and comprehend a component pick list

  • Effectively operate digital scale and log transactions into PC

  • Successfully understand and calculate several units of measure (lbs, grams, kg)

  • Identify expired raw material and return to QC Lab for re-test

  • Organize area to accommodate wave/weigh and assemble pallets as required

  • Have the mechanical ability to operate hoist equipment to move drums from one pallet to another

  • Accurately measure required number of raw materials to accommodate shift requirements
    All other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Good math skills essential.

  • Ability to perform all tasks of any lower job classification in the Compounding Department.

  • The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required.

  • The work environment is not climate controlled.

  • Noise level in the work environment is usually normal to moderate.

  • Some overtime may be required.

  • Regular attendance is required.

  • The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. All lifting must comply with OSHA standards. Must be able to reach, lift, bend and stoop without restrictions.
