Performance Manager Inventory Management


  • Accountable to develop further globally performance standards and improvements for inventory management
  • Identify process improvement potentials and initiate close the gap measures and related capability building
  • Establish process quality and performance audit for inventory management processes
  • Develop 3-year roadmap to further enhance inventory management capability in the entire organization
  • Implement and roll out strategic initiatives in inventory management capability building
  • Responsible to build-up and maintain a cross-regional process expert team of inventory management experts
  • Accountable to define, implement and govern inventory management process globally and improve overall process maturity
  • Coach regional inventory management experts on industry standard practices and improvements
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and best practice sharing between regions and across internal business units
  • Identify outside-in innovation potentials and market best practices, evaluate potential and initiate innovation pilots
  • Initiate and promote exchange with experts from other leading industries to accelerate internal development


  • University degree preferably in supply chain management
  • 10 years of operational experience in Supply Chain Planning, focus in supply and inventory management
  • 5 years of center of expertise/excellence experience on global/regional level
  • Establishing and leading virtual team of process experts
  • Exposure to complex matrix organizational set-up
  • Change and stakeholder management experience
  • Very good project management skills preferably in a regional or global role
  • Experience with APO DP/SNP and SAP/R3
  • Advanced MS Office skills especially in Excel and PPT
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage big volume of data
  • Exposure to multi-echelon inventory software
  • Cultural sensitivity to lead and influence across various cultures globally
  • Working proficiency in English language
