Laboratory Technician (Contract)

YOUR ROLE

  • Adhere to applicable regulations, policies and SHE compliance.
  • Assist engineers in executing DOE to generate meaningful data for customers.
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment and adhesive products
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal lab capability performance
  • Installation of new equipment
  • Liase with third party vendor in ordering consumables
  • Maintain inventory of chemical storage
  • Liase with chemical disposal company on waste disposal collection
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager

YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemistry, Material Science and Engineering, or Engineering equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor process and electronic packaging
  • Basic knowledge and hands on experience with various instrumentations such as DSC, TGA, SAT and Die bonder
  • Comfortable to work in a lab independently and basic knowledge to SHE and 5S practices
  • Proficiency with MS office (specifically with Excel, Powerpoint , Word)
