Master Data Specialist (Project Based)

  • Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate creation and update of different activities as defined in the service level agreement (e.g. local material master data views in SAP)
  • Responsible for deletion and reactivation of materials as well as handling of mass uploads
  • Responsible for various coordination in gathering the information needed for material master data maintenance in SAP (including answering of queries/emails, monitoring of workflows and sending of announcements for activated materials)
  • Responsible for generating master data download/reports and executing master data clean up needed by the business
  • Responsible for alignment with Team Lead regarding process manual updates
  • Responsible for project execution related to local material master data maintenance


  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Preferably with at least one (1) year related work experience in Master Data Management from a SSC environment; Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required; SAP MM experience is highly preferred
  • Having a background in Continuous Improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma or Time and Motion Studies) would be an advantage
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Must be a team player, with good skills in project management, time management, analysis, and excellent attention to detail
  • Willing to accept a one (1) year project-based position
