YOUR ROLE

  • You are the in-house product, packaging, and creative graphic designer for all Henkel Beauty Care brands
  • Use creative thinking and turn briefings into ideas to develop new design concepts, graphics, layouts for products, packaging, presentations, and communication key visuals (Print, POS, Flyers, Displays and other communication materials including digital)
  • Design, adapt, adjust, edit, update, and deliver finish layouts ready and prepared for master artwork / master key visual adaptation
  • Creation of icons, ingredient visualization from scratch or based on purchased/ shot imagery
  • Translate global briefs, objectives, and execute designs according to brand CI guidelines and technical specifications ready for material printing or submission
  • Stimulate innovation and stay on top of latest trends in the design industry covering product, packaging, and communication ad styles
  • Communicate and present creative ideas in a convincing manner to in- and external partners
  • Work in an international, and interdisciplinary team with diverse colleagues and exciting projects

YOUR SKILLS

  • A professional with 3+ years’ experience working in a creative design agency preferably in retail/FMCG company, with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, art, communication and similar degrees.
  • Awareness of the connections between marketing and people, culture, branding strategies, trends and environmental sustainability; knowledge of color, graphics and typography
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating proven graphic design proficiency – sophisticated typography, composition, and clean, elevated design execution
  • A digital native with experience in conceptualizing creative concepts in an ad-hoc and interdisciplinary way
  • A visionary mind with original ideas on product design within beauty and cosmetic industry
  • A multi-faceted person with ingrained eye and ear for product and graphic design
  • Strong listening, communication, and presentation abilities
  • Very strong organizational skills, and proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of all photographic formats, editing tools and processing skills, including RAW image files, Adobe Creative Cloud, Capture One and others
  • Excellent communication skills in English – German and other languages a plus
