Head of Business Intelligence (d/f/m)

YOUR ROLE

  • Lead a global department and execute our strategy to support all three business units with services, expertise and solutions around data, analytics and BI. Our goal is to build a data-driven company and not a department
  • Define and implement the global BI strategy for Henkel. Align with senior management in all three BUs & functions regarding data strategy and operational excellence
  • Lead and develop 4 teams in the areas of BI consulting, data & analytics solutions, data governance, and operations & service management
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and your colleagues in the Data & Analytics department to deliver products and services your customers love
  • Manage a project volume of up to 10 MEUR p.a. to support our business needs
  • Ensure stable operations with external partners to support 24x7 availability of Data & Analytics applications
  • Provide technical vision and guidance for Henkel’s ambitions to set industry-leading standards in Analytics

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in a computer science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading large teams in a relevant area (e.g. business intelligence, analytics)
  • Minimum 10 years of advanced hands-on technical experience
  • High proficiency in SAP BW and Microsoft BI
  • Strong technical expertise in Azure/AWS/GCP, services and architecture design
  • Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate closely with technical and non-technical teams. Eagerness to consult and drive data & analytics literacy within the enterprise
  •  Capacity to develop a clear understanding of business challenges, derive a solution concept and translate it into relevant tasks for your teams
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects in a corporate environment using agile practices like scrum
    Excellent language skills in English, German beneficial
