YOUR ROLE

  • Perform product development and modifications, application test, and raw material assessment
  • Lead and conduct technical and analytical work requests from Asia Pacific and global teams (product formulation, process manufacture, and specifications)
  • Participate in resolution of customer complaints related to product performance and application
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs) for can sealant product and technical inquiries
  • Participate in Safety, Health and Environment related initiatives to ensure safe condition and proper maintenance of the Can Sealant Laboratory; Conduct basic can sealant technology training for new hires

YOUR SKILLS

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry; Master’s Degree in Chemistry would be an advantage
  • Has to be a Licensed Chemist (with valid/active PRC license)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Chemical-related research gained from a University Research Laboratory or a Pharmaceutical/ Chemical Industry
  • Knowledge in SAP and analytical equipment such as FTIR, GPC and DSC is highly preferred
  • Must have excellent command of both spoken and written English; With project management and time management skills
