Global Purchasing Internship: Contract Manufacturing

YOUR ROLE

• Development of Strategic Sourcing of Contract Manufacturing products: e-tenders, e-auctions, contracts, market analysis and benchmarks.
  
• Support team in the design of Manufacturing Footprint Projects.
  
• Deep analysis of total cost in our value chain to identify optimization potential.
  
• Challenge the status quo in your dedicated area/project, put it into perspective to your academic and practical experience.
  
• Develop new ideas and introduce improvements based on the analysis of key criteria.
  
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Teams and stakeholders from other departments (i.e. Supply Chain, Controlling).

YOUR SKILLS

• Pro-active, analytical, determined and able to work independently on various tasks in parallel
  
• Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  
• Excellent presentation, communication skills and ability to establish trustful relationships across multiple functions and to leadership
  
• Open-minded and with Passion for trends and innovation
  
• True team player: team results matter more than an individual agenda
  
• Fluency in English, any other language is a plus
• Available for 6 months full-time as of April 01, 2021
