  • Lead a diverse Team of Sales Engineers (approx. 10 direct reports) across South-East Asia sub-region
  • Drive sub-regional execution of SBU/market segment strategies and territory sales plans (short, mid & long term)
  • Coordinate implementation of customer roadmap and ensure successful closure of new business projects
  • Actively manage implementation of pricing strategy
  • Strengthen customer network and develop key relationships with target customers
  • Support Sales Engineers on a range of commercial activities – act as mentor and coach
  • Drive and manage sales processes for e.g. forecasting, reporting and opportunity management and ensure adherence to standards and procedures
  • Develop strong connection with Adhesives Automotive Components Asia-Pacific Team, e.g. Business Development, Technical Customer Service, Operations, Innovation
  • Establish and share specific customer intelligence and provide portfolio insights
  • Deliver sales growth and profitability targets for South-East Asia sub-region.


  • University degree in technical, chemical, sales or business field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or business development roles; for adhesives, sealants or surface technologies is highly preferred
  • Senior Sales leader with proven track record of driving profitable sales growth and strategy execution
  • Strong leadership skills within customer-facing environment and intercultural context
  • Previous experience in managing a direct team across South-East Asia
  • 5+ years of experience in working in Automotive business and customer landscape (Automotive Supplier, OEM and distribution customers)
  • Excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Fluency in English required, proficiency in Thai and/or Japanese is beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage complexity
  • Management and business / financial acumen
  • International work experience or multiple years of experience in working within regional or global team
