YOUR ROLE

  • The Business Planner leads the detailed item level demand planning functions.
  • Responsible for Item / Key Account forecasts that support the Consumer Adhesives business.
  • The Business Planner leads the One on One call with key accounts and drives the item level forecast along with Sales.
  • The business planner supports the Demand Review process along with participating in the local Supply Review meetings.
  • This position has strong interfaces between the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Planning teams.
  • Adjusts the item level forecast based on established processes.
  • Communicate these adjustments to the planning team in a proactive manner.
  • Communicate MAPE, Bias and lagging forecast accuracy along with worst A performers root cause and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and project managers to obtain the best short, mid and long-range forecasts.
  • Partner with Business planning manager on the demand review process in support of S&OP

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Demand Planning or similar role
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with other departments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding leadership ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • ERP / SAP experience
  • Computer literate
