YOUR ROLE

The position is to ensure that the channel sales target is achieved by effectively and efficiently implementing and co-ordinating the sales effort of the modern trade team.

·Manage & analyze account profiles. Manage & grow new and existing customer relationships.

·Forming plans for increasing market share & communicating channel activities on a national level. 

·Monitoring of competitor activity and planning strategies around competitor information.

·Responsible for executing & monitoring of national & regional promotional activities.  

·Determine market strategies & goals for assigned products within individual accounts to ensure growth.

·Forecasting & inventory management.

·Achieving sales and profitability targets.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Strong people management skills 
  • Thorough knowledge of customers, products and market 
  • National account management experience (5 years)
  • Strong negotiation and selling skills at a national level
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Above average literacy, numeracy and computer literacy  
  •  Business or Marketing Degree
