  • This role assures that Henkel is continuously supplied with specification-conforming raw materials and packaging components that allow for the on-time manufacture and delivery of high-quality products.
  • Leads and provides direction to quality technicians.Ensures compliance with all lab requirements.
  • Application of Henkel microbiological test methods.
  • Research and keep necessary personnel updated of developments in microbiological test methods in the detergent industry and within Henkel.
  • Improve current test methods to ensure reliable and reproducible results. Reduce false positive results.
  • Perform validation on test methods, document and maintain records of all testing and methods.
  • Maintain all equipment and supplies used for the testing of finished products, raw materials, process swabs, etc. in the laboratories.
  • Sample raw materials, process water, bulk and finished goods, processes and packaging lines routinely and identify microorganisms and identify source of contamination.


  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent; four or more years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical / problem solving ability
  • Strong communication skills -- demonstrated ability to communicate and present to all levels of an organization
  • Computer and Software Skills -- Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio
