  • Lead creation, design and implementation of strategic global and regional initiatives for Adhesive Technologies in financial steering, planning, reporting, governance and business partnering (Business, Operations and Controlling)
  • Design and steer implementation of Adhesives Americas internal processes to comply with Adhesive Technologies global processes for controlling, oversee regular Business and Operations Controlling processes to ensure standardization and harmonization according to global guidance
  • Oversee projects and programs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of Adhesive Technologies Controlling Americas
  • Participate in and drive improvement initiatives across Americas together with stakeholders in other departments, e.g. Finance, HR, Sales
  • Provide strategic recommendations to global and regional management regarding improvement strategies
  • Oversee CNWC for Adhesive Technologies Americas and drive actions to improve in line with global strategy
  • Lead and oversee activities related to audit governance in Adhesives Americas, steer gap analysis, gap closure and roll out of Corporate Standards, steer global reporting of gaps identified by Internal Audit to Senior
  • Adhesive Technologies Management
  • Conduct market analysis to track market dynamics and support mid and long-term strategy
  • Lead execution of end to end Controlling activities related to Sales in Adhesive Technologies North America:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA, CPA, CFA, CMA preferred
  • International work experience preferred
  • Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in managing internal dotted line relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong finance skills – track record of understanding financial and business systems/ processes and proactively engaging internal and external stakeholders to identify and define potential issues, opportunities and develop solutions creating value
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with and challenge senior management
  • Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships will all levels and various functions of the organization
  • Knowledge of IFRS as well as complete understanding of financial statements and financial processes
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to develop into leadership role.
  • Excellent/ advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, along with proficient skills with other Microsoft Applications
  • Knowledge of SAP and business warehouse systems
  • Possess the ability to work with top management, proven presentation skills
  • Special skills — such as languages spoken and computer software proficiencies
  • External and internal audit experience

Strong project and program management skills and experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently sit, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Verbally communicate one-on-one and in front of groups
  • 20-30% travel may be required
