YOUR ROLE

Responsible to direct and manage the plant operations for production, process development, engineering, quality, safety and supply chain. Responsible for Dixon and Concord Safety program content, training, and successful practice. Responsible for contributing to the supply chain/logistics strategy development in support of 3DP/AN business needs while defining, initiating and overseeing the implementation of cross functional and cross regional SC & Logistics projects/initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides operations leadership and management
  • Strategic thinking to be able to work together with business to translate business needs into Operational and Supply Chain processes.
  • Able to develop new / hybrid processes and train employees in these processes
  • Experience with setting up new processes and implementing new system solutions
  •  Work with process development, R&D and technical teams to lead a successful scale up process of the AN product lines.
  • Work with the business, supply chain, process development and technical teams, to lead the transfer of technologies to other sites and other regions to support the growth of the steering unit when necessary
  • Leadership and development of the site staff including selection, recruitment, hiring, and training, mentoring, coaching, and motivating employees.
  • Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers/supervisors to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a safe, ethical and environmentally sound manner.
  • Actively support and enforce the plant’s SHE standards, lead by example and maintain high standards to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for accurate physical and digital Finished Goods & raw material inventories.
  • Review plant goals and metrics against various quality, customer and regulatory standards and requirements to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Management of capital assets, including optimization and maintenance of capital productivity, capacity planning, expansion, & preventative maintenance.
  • Manages accuracy of inventory data, including minimums, lead times, and pricing, through QuickBooks and Molecule’s software, Albert.
  • Manages the various compliance and safety programs, including but not limited to Storm Water Discharge, Emergency Response Plan, Hazardous Waste Management Plan, Lockout/Tagout Program, Respirator
  • Protection Program, Injury and Illness Prevention Program, weekly maintenance, organization and safety program, DOT/IATA/IMDG training & Community Right to Know Program.
  • Assures compliance with all local, state and federal regulations (including city license, weight measures, etc.).Work with Corporate Regulatory Affairs director
  • Lead and assure ISO13485 compliance on all relevant activities

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS degree in Chemical Engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent years of experience and solid operations background in the chemical processing industry.
  • 7-12 years experience with a combination of technical/production/supply chain assignments preferred.
  • Strong ability to motivate and work in conjunction with various other parties and functions across regions.
  • Strong change management and communication abilities
  • Experience as Project Lead in Regional value driven projects
  • High level of social skills to build and maintain good working relations with business partners
