The Head of Production Cell is responsible for leading all aspects of the production cell to safely produce high quality laundry and home care products.Leads the development and implementation of short-term tactical action plans and long-term strategies to ensure the cell operates at optimum manufacturing efficiencies and output levels while maintaining the highest safety, quality, and environmental standards with excellent customer service.
·Responsible for the measures the cell and all associated KPIs: safety, Quality, Efficiency, Scrap, Sustainability and cost.
·Drive all operations of the cell ensuring high operating standards are applied at all times
oEnsure safety and quality mindset is adopted by all employees
oEnsure competency-based process specific as well as safety and quality training for all cell employees is conducted in a timely, efficient and complete manner in order to meet legal, regulatory and company requirements
oWork closely with the Technical Reliability and Continuous Improvement personnel to analyze current performance and establish work activities to address losses
oExecute audits and assessments for implementation status of activities in the cell
oReview KPIs and daily, weekly and monthly trends
oAttend daily shift meetings
oPerform structured MUDA walks with line leaders
oReview shift leads tasks and assignments
oOwn and execute daily cell meeting and escalate information to Plant Manager for Daily Operational Review
·Providedirectleadership, direction, development and coaching to all operators of cell in accordance with skill matrices.Expectation that 70% of time is spent on the manufacturing floor.
oCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.These responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees in the cell: planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
oActively seek and secure the best talent available creating a pipeline for future roles with both internal and external talent
oDevelop others through coaching, feedback and stretch assignments focusing on succession planning for key positions within the plant as well as the overall Supply Chain organization.
oDevelop and execute training plan for all team members of the cell
·Support and manage the development of continuous improvement of standard work for all areas of the cell
oUse all standards and tools deployed through HPS with full ownership in the use of problem solving to address root cause of losses
·EnsurecompliancewithHenkelstandards forhuman resources management,safetyandlossprevention,cost control, waste reduction, quality, and on-time delivery
·Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local andregulatoryrequirements
·Maintain compliance at the site through continuous improvement efforts focused appropriately on technology, people, and processes
·SupportHenkel safety, environmental, health and qualityinitiativesandleadcell commitmentatalllevelsofdirectandindirectpersonnelto follow the Safety, Environmental, Health and QualityManagement Systems.
·Perform other duties as maybe required.

·Relevant degree in a technical field required – preference is chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering
