  • Consult in and execute statistical analyses & modeling along the product innovation pipeline. Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to leverage data to optimize experiments and processes. Take pride in delivering insight and value from data to the organization
  • Be part of a team of statisticians embedded in our Data Science Center of Excellence. Advance the team with your expertise and extend and deepen your knowledge by strong collaboration within the team and within cross-functional teams
  • Work in close collaboration in cross-functional teams using agile methods to deliver high quality data products at a fast pace
  • Actively participate in cross-functional project teams in the execution of our data & analytics strategy. Live a culture of constant learning, integrity and mutual responsibility. Be passionate about exploring emerging technologies and leveraging their full potential
  • Establish yourself as a data ambassador across business units and functions


  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, physics, mathematics, bioinformatics); PhD is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a statistic, decision science or data science environment
  • Strong skills in solving complex problems. Ability to structure and reduce complexity. Ability to transition from bird-eye-view to detailed view and back
  • Proven track record in delivering data-driven insights to business teams
  • Business acumen and ability to work closely with non-technical teams. High confidence in verbal and written communication
  • Hands-on experience in statistical methods to enable data-driven decision making (e.g. MCMC, hypothesis testing, multivariate testing, machine learning) or iterative design of experiment approaches (e.g. Bayesian optimization)
  • Proficiency in statistical methods for statistical process control is an advantage
  •  Excellent coding skills in scripting languages
  • Fluent in English; German language skill is a plus
