Senior Manager CO2 / Footprint Optimization (d/f/m)

YOUR ROLE

  • Build market specific knowledge on key footprint drivers and how to drive of our product solutions
  • Assist strategic business units to develop CO2 reduction roadmaps to identify future market demands and propose innovation routes
  • Monitor CO2 footprint reduction activities & understand market dynamics (product implications)
  • Develop an internal system or key levers to reduce CO2 footprint (e.g. biobased or recycled based raws, simplifying manufacturing process steps, energy savings)
  • Support external communication, documentation and workshops for key customers and markets, represent company & industry events
  • Advocate a science base CO2 calculation as an adhesive industry
  • Recommend technologies and explain the most beneficial routes to sustainability, products/process at customers to reduce carbon footprint
  • Drive conceptual lifecycle work: from sustainable material choices, production processes & final products use at customers

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master of Science in Natural Sciences, Engineering or Environmental Science, knowledge of Chemistry
  • Min 5 years experience in sustainability role/business experience, preference for experience in chemical products or consumer goods industry
  • Passion for ecological and technical questions and independent solution concept development
  • Strategic thinking, learning ambition and good communication skills
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • MS Office skills
