Senior Manager Global Trade

  • Manage U.S. Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) compliance
  • Manage projects to adequately protect defense information and technical data.
  • Be the local focal point for Henkel Customers in defense or defense subcontracting regarding certification of Henkel’s DFARs and ITAR Compliance.
  • Manage the compliance process with Henkel customer Quality and Engineering team.
  • Develop training, compliance and audit procedures for CDI/CUI and technical data
  • Manage the Henkel secure data site for the transfer of controlled technology
  • Conduct export compliance audits as required
  • Participate in developing and conducting training pertaining to import and export regulations
  • Develop and conduct trade training at all levels of employment throughout the business
  • Monitor regulatory changes related to export controls and communicate as appropriate
  • Support all other activities within the Global Trade Department as required


  • Bachelors Degree in Logistics, International Trade Data, Analytics and/or related disciplines
  • 5-7 years experience working with Multinational Companies
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience with a defense contractor or manufacturer, leading the controls of technical data, technical assistance agreements and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations Supplement) compliance.
  • Must have demonstrated intermediate knowledge and experience of: U.S. Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and other U.S. and Non-U.S. laws and regulations dealing with export, customs, and sanctions.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of export regulations, such as ITAR and Experience with encryption export controls
  • Strong SAP knowledge and an interest in digital developments in Trade Compliance a plus
  • Excellent analytical, digital and problem-solving skills a must.
  • Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements in the area of Trade Compliance
