  • The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing demand planning process for assigned business segment as part of the corporate S&OP process.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Project Managers to analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs to the forecast such as competitive impacts, new item launches, and cannibalization in the development and delivery of the monthly demand plan (12-24 month horizon).Also, to obtain the best short, mid and long-range forecasts.
  • Partner with Business planning manager on the demand review process in support of S&OP and monitor demand planning metrics and drive improvement for their business segments with the goal of continued improvement in forecast accuracy and S&OP Process Excellence.
  • Adjusts the item level forecast based on established processes. Communicate these adjustments to the planning team in a proactive manner.
  • Communicate MAPE, Bias and lagging forecast accuracy along with worst A performers root cause and corrective actions.
  • Support and participate in local supply review meetings in support of S&OP.
  • Support the company’s culture and business mission by promoting communication, teamwork, and the respectful treatment of all individuals.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, statistics, mathematics, economics, or similar field required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in supply chain / demand planning or related field is required.
  • Knowledge of integrated business management processes and systems (SAP, APO or other ERP systems) required.
  • Experience with continual process improvement methods with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis and take action to fix issues
  • Strong Excel skills, communication and experience working in a matrixed organization.
