- Supports SHE organization in specialized area
- Drives SHE strategy and targets in area of responsibility and uses appropriate reporting tools
- Reports monthly on SHEQ KPI status
- Defines and executes standards and procedures in collaboration with affected functional area
- Ensures continual improvement in all relevant SHE fields
- Supports Global Audit Management
- Supervises legal compliance matters, follow-up of development in legal matters and regulatory affairs
·B.S. in Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
·Minimum 5 years experience with SH&E management related functions and administration preferably within the chemical industry.
·Working knowledge of Federal and State SH&E regulations.
·ASP/CSP certification desired.
·Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, with experience with AutoCAD, Visio, Visual Basic a plus.
·Experience in emergency response and incident command training and implementation.
·Well-developed planning and organizational skills including the ability to work independently, prioritize activities, meet commitments, and proactively manage time and generally manage travel and a challenging workload.
·Understands cost versus benefit analysis and incorporate business risk in analysis of alternatives.
·Must be able to identify and effectively utilize resources such as contract expertise.
·Proactively support and or lead SHE initiatives that support the business and work well with all teams involved
