Field Service Engineer (Ford)

YOUR ROLE

  • Manage the site sales and service functions for several major automotive OEM’s and metal container accounts, and based at Ford Kentucky Truck Plant.
  • Responsible for working with automotive pretreatment system and other Henkel solutions in the plant, primarily body, paint or trim shop. 
  • Develop effective account management, service & sales support strategies, and activities to cultivate new business opportunities to provide an outstanding customer service and support commitment.
  • Develop, manage, and apply organizational resources to provide excellent customer and technical support.
  • Ensure the rapid resolution of problems and provide technical and product management support across multiple technology platforms.
  • Maintain high standards and professional image of the company and comply with company policies and processes.
  • Order Henkel product, track shipments, monitor inventory levels and usages of Henkel products.
  • Champion site continuous-improvement projects that result in process efficiencies and recognized value.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Associates or Bachelors degree is required.
  • Chemistry coursework or a technical understanding of Chemistry is required. 
  • Previous experience or internship in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Strong customer facing skills.  
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently.
  • Strong data analysis, and presentation skills.
