YOUR ROLE

  • Working in the Laundry and Homecare business you lead and support a cross-functional team in new product and packaging development, including creative, commercial, and cost-optimisation projects.
  • Develop innovative packaging multi-formats solutions that deliver business objective, optimising design and contribute to innovation and sustainability goals.
  • Identify, contribute, and implement business strategy to fulfill sustainability commitment by collaborating with external partners such as APCO.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, and Purchasing team for manufacturing problem-solving, material and production sourcing, vendor management and innovations. Collaborate with Marketing/Sales regarding competitor watch, market research, categories development, and trade related support.
  • Manage R&D technical data, packaging sustainability databases, generating presentation and updates relating to development projects.



YOUR SKILLS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (B.E Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial) or similar, 3 plus years working in a product packaging development and material science field.
  • Familiar MS Office and related engineering software, in particular familiarity with MS Excel for data modelling and process calculation.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude, willing to learn, agile and adaptable.
  • Fundamental knowledge of packaging regulations including but not limited to DG, CR, and Recyclability.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via different media and different level.
  • Ability to work well in team collaboration as well as autonomously, with solid attention to detail.
