  • You are responsible as Category Team Member “Contract Manufacturing and Traded Goods” to source co-packing services in and for Europe for our Beauty Care Business
  • In this purchasing role, you are holding contacts and building strategic relationships to our external co-packing partners which extend our own production network; you define and manage the supplier portfolio and ensure supply and balancing of financial risks related to it
  • The respective markets are continuously and systematically analyzed by you; you identify opportunities and synergies and execute all relevant purchasing steps during the introduction of new concepts and suppliers (screening, tendering, negotiation, supplier selection, contracting, cost management, etc.)
  • You ensure purchasing deliverables related to your area of responsibility with appropriate contracts, strategic projects and specific saving initiatives which you align and discuss by collaborating with suppliers, local Supply Chain and other stakeholders, you present deliverables in gate reviews to stakeholders
  • Challenges and enriches the MG’s objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies proposed by the global STL/CTL


  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of direct or indirect materials for a global company; strategic purchasing considered an advantage
  • Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
  • Excellent communication skills with negotiating, influencing and convincing abilities
  • An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
  • Project management knowledge and team player attitude
  • Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
  • Working proficiency in English is mandatory, other language is an advantage
