Senior Manager Circular Economy (d/f/m)

YOUR ROLE

  • Shape the global circular economy strategy for Packaging and Consumer Goods Adhesives and drive its execution
  • Monitor, analyze and respond to external market drivers and regulatory changes and assess their impact
  • Derive clear positions on the basis of available date, using scientific principles
  • Communicate and advocate strategy and positions clearly and impactfully to internal and external stakeholders
  • Interface with technical teams to generate relevant proof points and incorporate circularity into ongoing and future projects
  • Assist strategic business units in developing their specific product roadmaps
  • Support strategic business units in their customer interactions with expert level expertise
  • Interact with strategic Adhesives and corporate functions to support the overall Henkel circular economy approach
  • Contribute to cross-industry initiatives that focus on recycling, composting and renewable raw materials
  • Support go-to-market and communication workstreams  

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master of Science in Natural Sciences, Engineering or Environmental Science or higher degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sustainability or technical leadership role in a relevant market with preference for experience in adhesives, chemical products or consumer goods and packaging industries
  • Experience in working in industry initiatives and associations
  • Strategic thinking, learning ambition and good communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and lead without formal authority
  • Willingness to travel in and out of the region
  • Experience in public speaking and providing training
  • Fluent English language skills, German language skills are a benefit
  • MS Office skills
