Product Development Chemist - Cleaner and Surface Treatment (d/f/m)

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop innovative cleaner and surface treatment products for Metal Packaging and General Industries
  • Identify opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements
  • Lead one or multiple Adhesives Development Process projects critical to business
  • Support the role-out of new products/technologies into the field including trial participation at the customer
  • Act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Adhesive Technologies both internally and externally
  • Identify and engage with internal and external partners such as customers, research centers, sales, Technical Customer Service, production and marketing
  • Maintain product portfolio and ensure compliance with legislation
  • Develop new or improved product development and application test methods
  • Act as responsible for new research, IP, publications, technology roadmap and contribute actively in scientific publications and forums with papers and presentations
  • Steer and facilitate knowledge sharing and support project teams in solving problems
  • Act as an advisor for management and steering committees 

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master's degree in Chemistry
  • Min. 2 years experience in metal cleaning and/or surface treatment technology
  • Good organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English and German language skills
