Digital Portfolio & Demand Manager (d/f/m)

  • Oversee project and product budgets, cost, and time for the Data & Analytics portfolio within Henkel dxD 
  • Act as first point of contact for project management guidance and drive PMO team initiatives
  • Ensure project management excellence and continuously review quality of projects and their business cases, charters, and KPI milestones
  • Steer demands and ideas to ensure portfolio alignment with global strategy and functional unit plans
  • Report portfolio status and progress to senior management
  • Be responsible for and actively manage resource capacity planning within the unit (>100 FTE). Conduct strategic assignment of PMO resources to programs to enable successful digital product delivery
  • Embed product management excellence through coaching/consulting and assess project leads performance
  • Identify and lead improvement opportunities for the portfolio management process and the digital product lifecycle. Coach team members on standards and strategic topics
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams in the execution of our data & analytics strategy and drive digital change. Live a culture of constant learning, integrity, and mutual responsibility


  • Master degree in in Business Management, Statistics, Analytics or Computer Science or similar
  • Relevant experience in an advanced analytics environment in either industry or academia. Experience in the chemical industry is a plus
  • Min 7 years of project management experience with a focus on digital & organizational transformation and management of change
  • Experience as Product Owner with respective certificates
  • Agile ways of working and native user of agile processes e.g., Scrum, Kanban, BizDevOps and tools e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of a common PPM software
  • Hands-on Design Thinking experience with respective certification/training is a plus
  • Wide scope of general business knowledge focusing on data & analytics product implementation and digital project delivery
  • Ability to communicate and present clearly and logically and adjust content/approach based on the audience
  • Excellent language skills in English and German with high confidence in both verbal and written communication
