Key Account Manager - Beauty Care Professional (m/f/x)

For the Sales department in the Netherlands we are looking for a Key Account Manager who will be responsible for the business development of our Key Account Portfolio. You will report to the Head of Key Account.


As a Key Account Manager for a number of large clients, you work as an advisory representative. You are responsible for expanding existing services and obtaining new business from existing customers in the Netherlands. You are a trusted advisor to your customers. You maintain current relationships and further expand your network with new customers. You know how to position yourself as a strategic partner of the customer.

In addition, you contribute to and are involved in the short and long-term planning of the Business Unit Key Account Management Netherlands.

Your responsibility is also to actively expand our market share in the professional hairdressing industry. It is your responsibility to expand the market share of our brands Schwarzkopf Professional, Indola, Authentic Beauty Concept and STMNT in the professional hairdressing industry.

Objectives a.o.

Your responsibility includes drawing up and executing the sales plan and achieving the qualitative and quantitative targets.
You are responsible for the commercial agreements made with existing and new customers, aimed at expanding the market share, consisting of contract negotiations.
You manage the budget of your key accounts.
You are also responsible for all sales related processes on the business unit.

Consult with other departments within the company to streamline sales

You are responsible for a smooth cooperation with other departments within the company. Good cooperation between the various departments increases the professional image of the company and contributes to obtaining and retaining a satisfied customer.

Analyzing markets, identifying trends and mapping

You follow the market development together with the marketing department: How are the needs of our customers and the end consumer developing?

Prospecting at key accounts

Maintaining contact with potential customers on a tactical and strategic level.

  • Knowledge of the hairdressing industry is an advantage
