YOUR ROLE

As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will:

  • Conduct daily physical inventory in Warehouse (including outside warehouses) and Distribution as required by cycle count program and variance reports to verify inventory quantity and location accuracy
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Do root cause analysis of inventory inaccuracies
  • Input cycle count data into system (MAPICS / WMS)
  • Make required inventory adjustments in the system (MAPICS (PH), High Jump, WMS (CC)) to correct inventory data
  • Compile weekly inventory accuracy level reports. Compile other inventory related reports as required
  • Monitor warehousing capacity and issue a monthly capacity report
  • Have knowledge of MAPICS, WMS and High-Jump systems. Has a thorough understanding and command of transactions related to their job
  • Perform all other duties as required

YOUR SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Candidates must have computer experience in a Microsoft environment, MAPICS and RED PRAIRIE
  • The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment
  • Regular attendance is required and overtime may be required
  • It is the responsibility of each employee to conduct tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations, company program standards, company policies, and special safety concerns while protecting yourself, the organization, and the environment
  • The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.  All lifting must comply with OSHA standards
