YOUR ROLE

  • Implement policies, the Henkel Production System (HPS) standards by Continuous Improvement tools, setting up production performance tracking metrics, and required data collection mechanism for real-time data analysis align with the HPS gap closure to support the growth of Lean culture within the site & reducing the cost across the Adhesive Technologies business
  • Supervise and develop Lean engineers in the Lean department (To train and mentor the related successor)
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the activities and operations of Lean department such as:
    • Plan and design plant layouts and facilities with optimum flow
    • Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures through the Standardize Work
    • Conduct studies and implement programs to determine optimum utilization of machinery, materials, and resources through OLE (Overall Labor Efficiency) & OEE/TEEP (Overall Equipment Efficiency / Total Effective Equipment Performance) analysis
    • Conduct Continuous Improvement workshops to be ended to sustainable savings
    • Design, develop and conduct time studies such as MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) and work simplification programs
    • Determine human resource and skill requirements and develop Lean Manufacturing training programs
    • Develop performance standards, evaluation systems
    • Conduct studies of the reliability and performance of plant facilities and production or administrative systems
  • Consult and negotiate with other operational departments to prepare specifications, explain proposals, and present industrial engineering reports and findings
  • May participate directly in the design, development, and inspection of technical projects or the engineering work of the department as a part of major and special investment project management

YOUR SKILLS

  • Extensive (min 5 years) experience in Industrial Engineering Management, including related engineering discipline and supervisory experience is required.
  • Min a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and/or MBA is required. (A master's degree or doctorate in an industrial engineering discipline will be considered a plus.)
  • Having Six Sigma Green Belt certificate and A3 or 8D problem-solving certificate is must, MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) certificate will be considered a plus
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications, expertise in Power BI is considered a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Being result-oriented with the background of working in different operational functions & cultures; influencing, leading, developing team members & analytical thinking
  • Innovative, team player, and highly motivated profile with strong interpersonal skills
  • No limitation for traveling and working in the site
