  • Ensuring all aspects of the Dangerous Goods operations (safe handling, storage, packing, and transportation) meet and exceed the regulated requirements in Turkey and all countries within IMEA region
  • Maintaining and monitoring internal systems to be current and compliant with all Dangerous Goods and develop procedures for activities associated with the carriage of dangerous goods
  • Providing guidance and assistance to respective stakeholders within the IMEA region on all queries related to the handling & storage & transport of dangerous goods
  • Working with various departments to keep updated with requirements through training, process, and procedure documents and provide trainings
  • Acting as Lead Investigator for any Dangerous Goods Issues raised, using reporting methods
  • Conducting dangerous goods compliance audits in Henkel & 3rd Party Supplier sites
  • Completing dangerous goods annual reports


  • Having a bachelor or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or a related field with a successful academic record
  • Minimum 3 years of experience by being Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor, 5 years’ experience within international organizations, chemical companies would be preferable
  • Having a valid DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor) certification, IATA (International Air Transport Association) and IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) certificate would be preferable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, ability to manage conflicts
  • Able to prioritize time working in a multi-site environment and manage/influence colleagues remotely 
  • Discretion with confidential or sensitive information
  • Advance knowledge MS Office applications
