Business Development Manager, Building Components

JOB PURPOSE

  • Define & develop opportunities in building component & construction market
  • Lead & collaborate R&D and Sales team to develop new products and solutions to win in China

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop & execute China FBC strategy, deliver strong Building component Key Strategy initiatives
  • Leverage the global best practice and develop China business development strategy and solution
  • Work closely with Sales team to define & develop business opportunities in Building component & Constructions industries
  • Facilitate defined new opportunities delivery to drive business ambition
  • Collaborate & lead R&D and Sales team to generate sustainable growth in China
  • Manage the product roadmap and gain competitive advantage for long term success
  • Support Sales team to develop customers roadmap and outperform the market

INDIVIDUALLY TASKS (TIME IN %)

  • Study Building Component Market Mega Trend to develop and optimize China strategy. (15%)
  • Understand Global Business Strategy and define opportunities in China Market. (20%)
  • Drive innovation by working closely with R&D and Sales team to develop new products/solutions to capture business opportunities (50%)
  • Work with Sales and Supply Chain team to build safe stock for new launched products. (15%)

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor or above degree on Polymer Science, Material Science or Chemistry related
  • Over 7 years working experience in commercial (BD, Sales or Marketing), construction material relevant industry is preferred.
  • Good collaboration, influence, and project management skills
  • Proficient in oral and written English communication skills
  • Passion and self-motivated to drive innovation
