Line Coordinator, 2nd Shift

1.Assist Line Supervisor by coordinating team assignments, including manpower and materials, to maximize efficient production and quality per manufacturing order.
2.Maintain written records of line production, efficiency, and quality. Keypunch data into computer and verify accuracy of records.
3.Orient and train new line technicians and assist in evaluation of line technicians’ evaluations.
4.Help to ensure the safety of individuals working in the department.
5.Line check for quality, collect and deliver samples as requested.Allocate as appropriate.
6.Perform minor line adjustments, and repairs needed for normal operation and effectively communicate conditions as they occur.
7.Notify supervisor if issues exist, such as:
§any issues interfering with line’s ability to meet objectives
§any quality issues with output, components, and bulk
§Personnel issues including fulltime and temporary staff.
8.Make sure warehouse receipts match the actual for components and bulk.Inventory accuracy of product produces inputs and outputs, and accurately bar code place cards with correct information.
9.Perform all other job duties as required.
High School Diploma/HSE strongly preferred, or 6+ months experience required.
Good communication skills and good math skills required.
Must have proven ability in all aspects of production technician and knowledge of all other procedures in Packaging department.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required.
The work environment is not climate controlled.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
Regular attendance is required.
Overtime may be required.

The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
