E-Commerce Trade Marketing Executive

  • Full ownership, creation & execution of the annual digital trade marketing plan for all channels
  • Tracking performance vs set & market KPIs & recommendation of actions with implementation
  • Capture and translate consumer behaviour data and requirements from digital touchpoints (ideally, marketing and ecommerce) into recommendations for activation (web, SEO, email, shopper, promotions, etc.)
  • Work in close partnership with E-Commerce and ‘Bricks & Clicks’ sales teams to execute plans
  • Build and maintain network of key customer digital marketing contacts
  • Ensure maximum digital presence & compliance on customer websites with ongoing improvement plan
  • Owner and key user of Price & Promo online tool
  • Present internally at key meetings on a regular basis to share insights, results & best practice
  • Lead best practice exchange with the E-Commerce & digital channels of the RSU
  • Work closely with all brand managers to identify & progress internal digital activation priorities
  • Ensure external digital marketing in line with brand ATL calendar
  • Provide best-in-class marketing content for all e-commerce routes to market & manage agencies accordingly
  • Develop & overlook marketing content to be deployed across all digital /e-commerce media channels
  • Coordination of digital / e-com content production with internal service centre and external vendors
  • Point of contact & responsible for all digital asset management providers & agencies (e.g. Brandbank)
  • Achieve value market share growth for E-Commerce customers, tracked by IRI/Kantar


·Degree-level education or equivalent & past experience in FMCG categories preferred

·Understanding of the online customer journey for retailers

·Understanding of how to drive brand performance metrics on customer e-commerce platforms

·Dynamic and self-motivated

·Ability to analyse results and report back on activation performance to make recommendations

·Confident presenting to both internal and external stakeholders

·Great communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills

·Team player who can work collaboratively and independently

·Confident using Excel, PowerPoint, Word & MS Teams

·Keen eye for detail

·Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities
