Global Trade & Customs Manager (Digitally savvy / GTS professionals wanted!)

YOUR ROLE

  • Be part of a team of highly motivated specialists in different regions that work together to further develop and communicate the Trade & Customs Business Process Owner program for Henkel Strategic Business Solutions
  • Providing global support and advice to BU’s and functions in case of new processes to be implemented as well as training and supporting Regional Process Experts and local colleagues.
  • Develop and drive the Trade Analytics strategy to facilitate the realization of the digital and innovation goals of Henkel
  • Support the business and key users in digital initiatives such as digital commerce, as well as user support for integration of new acquisitions and divestments,
  • Ensuring Global Trade and Customs compliance and safeguard template processes within projects as well as in daily work.
  • Evaluating and implementing digital procedures for process optimization.
  • Monitor customs regulations, adjust procedures and advise appropriate parties of changes
  • Develop and maintain training programs for business partners involved in trade matters
  • Represent Trade & Customs on strategic projects with cross-functional and cross-regional teams

  • Lead project and process initiatives for GTS, SAP or required Global Trade and Customs Initiatives.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Higher degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or International Trade or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant trade and customs management experience within a multinational, big4 consultancy firm or law firm
  • Strong SAP GTS knowledge and an interest for digital developments in the field of Trade & Customs
  • Excellent understanding of customs and trade regulations; experience with global FTA management as well as US export controls is a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations
  • Fluent proficiency in English is a must, Dutch and German are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, experience with project management
  • Good time management, results oriented, can-do attitude
  • Project Management skills or project leadership implementation is a plus
  • Proven ability to work in an international and culturally diverse environment
