YOUR ROLE

  • Develops strategies for the entire category spend, involving the Global SBU KAMs, Regional Category Team Leaders (CTLs) and Category Team Members (CTMs).
  • Defines execution models (after alignment with global Business Units KAM), ensures full documentation and traceability
  • Conducts frequent risk assessment, designing and managing adequate measures to address supply and price risk for selected spend
  • In full alignment with internal stakeholders, systematically defines and drives full E2E cost optimization initiatives
  • Contributes to delivering bottom/top line results by managing Categories spend/projects accord to long term planning and Business Units KAM targets
  • Supports our Business Units in demand management
  • Defines and manages sustainable supplier portfolio; establishes and manages strategic supplier relationship, ensuring full compliance
  • Develops insight/knowledge on sustainability initiatives and impact on the total value chain, the industry, and the supply base (per reg.)
  • Identifies req. cross-funct. resources: leads team to achieve superior and sustainable results; channels communication with supplier base
  • Onboards, leads and develops/coaches Purchasing team members
  • Ensures best practice sharing inside the Category Team and across Business Unit KAM team
  • Guarantees full delegation of back-office jobs to Shared service Center (SSC) and develops best practices for e-sourcing with sustainable results
  • Contributes to simplification and optimization of sourcing processes as needed Is accountable for periodic progress measurements, accuracy of data, in-time delivery, audit compliant documents for all sourcing activities
