YOUR ROLE

  • Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
  • Liaises with other stakeholders within the plant in order to provide professional support and advice (quality, supply chain, maintenance, production, SHE)
  •  Strives for improvements and efficiencies in Engineering area
  • Monitors KPIs for engineering processes
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
  • Assist with start up of new plant/technology

YOUR SKILLS

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Able to intern [part-time or full-time] beginning in Jan 2022 through May 2022 with opportunity for extension if desired
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to analyze data and develop fact-based recommendations resulting from the analysis
  • Communication skills: collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
  • Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines
  • Laboratory and research skills: compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique and good record keeping
