 YOUR ROLE as Head of Product & Technology Management APAC for AC

  • Overall responsibility for building and developing a high-performing product & technology management team for APAC region as part of the divisional PTM team
  • Lead regional PTM team to improve supply security, drive cost optimization, and manage product life cycle to support SBUs to drive their business ambitions and strategic targets
  • Oversee key team outputs and deliverables, guiding the team through complex projects/topics
  • Liaise with global PTM team to leverage synergies and align on harmonized standards
  • Support team members to build right level of engagement with local stakeholders
  • Show leadership and dedication to push the organization to achieve quantitative KPIs

In your role as regional head, you also have product & technology responsibility with primary focus on acrylates, epoxies, and polyurethanes.

YOUR ROLE as Regional Product & Technology Manager APAC

Execute regional product portfolio strategy in line with technology strategy for AC division within Adhesive Technologies regarding product availability, profitability, and compliance by collaborating with supply chain, operations, product development, purchasing/3PM and product safety & regulations

  • Perform portfolio analyses using standard Henkel tools and systems
  • Guarantee business continuation for the portfolio, e.g., managing supply shortages or product changes, product ramp ups and site transfers, in cross-functional and cross-regional teams
  • Manage regional portfolio, e.g., complexity management, supporting product introductions with relevant stakeholders and ensuring cost transparency
  • Lead raw material related initiatives to optimize cost of goods and mitigate supply risk in close collaboration with purchasing/3PM and product development
  • Contribute to or leading projects that enable the organization, e.g., time to market improvement or strategic master data governance


  • Master’s degree in business administration, science (engineering, chemistry or related), supply chain or purchasing
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in different roles such as product management, supply chain, purchasing, product development, marketing
  • Outstanding leadership, business acumen and partnering capabilities within a consumer-focused organization
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize/organize workload
  • Portfolio and product management experience
  • High numeric and analytic capabilities with high proficiency of MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Experiences working with SAP is a plus
  • Fluent (oral and written) in English and Mandarin
